I bought this album after falling in love with the hit single 'Bring me to life'! I still listen to this song to this very day and i will never get tired of the lyrics over and over again.

Evanescence's new single is called 'Going under' and this is another of my favorites and i believe it will go straight to the top of the Scottish Charts and elsewhere. If you are a fan of both Bring me to life and the current single, Going under, then you will certainly enjoy this album as much as i do. Although most of the songs are basically the same, they always get me in the mood to party! Sometimes when i am feeling a bit like Mr.Grumpy, i always turn on Evanescence and get back to my usual cheery self.
Fallen is really one of the most beautiful revelations of the year.
The group first started with Bring me to life and that song became the soundtrack to the 2003 movie Daredevil. The album is the bands first but certainly will not be their last.
The voice of Amy Lee is very powerful and i believe it has a beautiful future in front of it!

Going Under

This is my favorite song on the album and to my advantage, its the first track played on the album which is great as i don't need to find the song - it just comes on first. The lyrics to this song are fantastic and well thought out. It also has a great beat to it as well as Bring Me To Life did.

Bring Me To Life
----------------
Ah now, Bring Me To Life! Nothing can beat this song (even Going Under) its brilliant and to back me up, it stayed at No1 for several weeks and didn't leave the top 10 for over a month. The public loved it as did i, the video definitely gives the song justice and i never get tired of watching it!

Everybody's fool

This is a really good song and i believe some parts of it show off Amy's voice extremely well to her delight.

My Immortal

I have no idea why the title of the song is called My Immortal, but the song has a really tender side to it. It is a very soft and sweet song that is great to listen to when trying to relax or release stress.

Haunted
-------
The very creepy song Haunted is probably my worst song in the album. Its just not my taste in music at all and sadly i don't listen to this track number often. BUT to people that like a creepy coolish styled song, this is for you!

Tourniquet

The Christian song of the album. I particularly think this song is pretty tame but as i said before, peoples taste are different!

Imaginary

I don't listen to this song much so i cant really say what i think of it, sorry. But if i were to guess, i would say it would be good based on the title.

Taking Me Over

I like this song because it has a strange side and yet a good tune. i think this also has great lyrics and is one of the bands better songs.

Hello

Amy's voice is amazing in this track as it is throughout but this song really touches me. VERY SWEET!

My Last breath

It is very similar to other tracks so obviously i do enjoy listening to this song regularly.

Whisper

My favorite part of this song is the choir singing at the end and the instruments played are very well done. Hope the next album is as good!

Fallen was tracked in Los Angeles with producer Dave Fortman (BOYSETSFIRE, Super joint Ritual). The album successfully finds that intangible balance between lush beauty and primal heaviness.

Evanescence has become one of my favorite bands thanks to the song again, Bring Me To Life. I believe that if it wasn't for this song the group wouldn't be as successful as they are today. For a debut album, I can only imagine the heights this band can go in future endeavors. This album is a treat, do yourself a favor and pick it up.

I think i have actually failed to mention the reasons why i actually love the band so much. I just love the style of their music and Amy's voice certainly deserves all shes earned. To be honest, i am not a fan with Gothic music and rock and roll but this is a mixture of everything which i admire.

The album 'fallen' can be bought at Woolworth's or any record store priced at £12.99. It is currently set to hit the Album charts straight at No1! Fingers crossed then everyone! x
