Evanescence: Fallen released 2004

I wasn't much of an Evanescence fan myself but when I heard Going under I wanted to hear what the rest if the album was like. So I leant it off a friend. I was surprised to find that I was very into this band… I was told they weren't very good by a different friend and she has a very similar music taste to me (Blink 182, AvA A7x e.c.t) so I took her word for it. Anyway I was listening to Kerrang! One morning and it came on my brother told me to leave it on so I did and I was surprised to find them a very interesting band.

Going Under: It starts off with lyrics straight away and it really caught my attention. It has a great Tempo and the guitar rhythm is very catchy. Before the first chorus it goes into a part with out any instruments Just Amy Lee singing. She has an excellent voice and this album really makes her talent shine.

Bring me to life: this track has a very attention catching vibe to it especially with the video I like it because it is not like all the others where they have people riffing on a coffin or in the rain. It really got me interested. It starts off with the piano and then singing it's awesome! Easy lyrics to remember and I like the fact that it isn't just Amy lee singing they have a male voice in it too. This track has a great beat to it and I love the rhythm it always gets my head nodding.

Everybody's fool: it starts off with like a Spanish guitar rhythm and then in come the electric…Very good lyrics and Sang perfectly… I would say that after giving back this album this was the track that made me buy the album for myself because I absolutely love it along with my immortal

My immortal: there are two versions of this track on this album this one which is all piano and the band version which I will talk about later. This I would say is the song that really shows how brilliant Amy is at singing. She is also an amazing piano player too Try searching this on youtube Just type in my immortal evanescence in the search bar.

Haunted: This Track has a bit of a creepy start; it is also quite slow to begin with but picks up within a minute of the song. It has a very good guitar rhythm this is one of the many brilliant things about this album all guitar rhythms are flawless! Ace beat to it…Tempo is mixed it is slow and fast in its special way. The guitar riff in this track is mind blowing!

Tourniquet: This is the Track my friend suggested I definitely listen to as halfway through Amy does a some scream vocals. Lyrics are nice and easy to remember. Got a brilliant beat and a catchy tempo.

Imaginary: This track is probably the 4th best one Evanescence have ever done! Lyrics are simple but meaningful I listen to this song everyday. It starts off with violins and then about 15 seconds in, in comes the drums, bass and guitar. You also hear the piano in this track which is extremely catchy!

Taking over me: This track starts with the piano leading onto the guitar and drums for a few seconds. This is another song that really makes Amy lee's talent shine.

Hello: Most songs on this album have the piano to be fairly honest but it doesn't get boring it never gets boring.
This song makes both me and my friend cry so whenever we listen to it you can guarantee that there will be tears. Amy lee is outstanding in this track. I totally recommend this to any-one

My last breath: There is a totally different vibe from this Track to the last. I think mainly its because its not all piano and slow like the last. It's up beat and has a sublime beat to it.

Whisper: A bit of a heavy metal start to this one but it changes completely as the lyrics come in because its not screaming or yelling loudly in to the mic. The lyrics fit immensely with the beat and rhythm and it's a song that you are able to listen to repetitively.

My immortal (band version): all the same lyrics as the normal version along with the piano only difference is that around 3 minuets into the song you get the guitar bass and drums which makes the song not better but superb!
