If you remember the 80's and loved the music , then this is defiantley the album for you ...

This two disk CD set covers all various artists from 1980-1989 and has a combined forty songs !! not bad eh.
There are so many songs and groups on here that a lot of you will remember and it brings back good times for me remembering the school disco's !

My favourites on this album are "hungry like the wolf" that has to be one of mine as a Duran Duran fan, and I have good memories of Billy Ocens "Get outo my dreams, get into my car".
Another classic is "Prince Charming" by Adam and the ants.

There are a couple of dud songs on here that I did not really enjoy that much, such as "I'm a wonderful thing baby" and "Ride on time" I really hated that song when it came out as it was number one for weeks and weeks and just got on my nerves !!

The songs are
CD 1

1. Wishing I was Lucky by Wet wet wet (1987)
2. I'm your man by Wham (1985)
3. Hungry like the wolf by Duran Duran (1982)
4. The look of love by ABC (1982)
5. Baby I don't care by Transvision vamp (1989)
6. To cut a long story short by Spandau Ballet (1980)
7. Thorn in my side by the Eurithmics (1986)
8. Digging your scene by the Blow monkeys (1986)
9. Favourite shitrs by Haircut 100 (1981)
10. Each time you break my heart by Nick Kamen (1986)
11. Could have told you so by Halo James (1989)
12. Stray cats strut by Stray cats (1981)
13. Robert de niro's waiting by Bananarama (1984)
14. Wishing I had a photograph of you by A flock of seagulls (1982)
15. I'm a wonderful thing baby by Kid Creole and the coconuts (1982)
16. I won't let the sun go down on me by Nik kershaw (1983)
17. Kiss me by Stephen "Tin tin" Duffy (1985)
18. Prince Charming by Adam and the ants (1981)
19. Don't leave me this way by The Communards (1986)
20. Sign your name by Terrence trent D'Arby (1987)

Disk 2

1. Uptown girl by Billy Joel (1983)
2. Love of the common people by Paul Young (1985)
3. Addicted to love by Robert Palmer (1985)
4. I drove all night by Cindi lauper (1989)
5. Don't get me wrong by the Pretenders (1986)
6. Magic Monday by The bangles (1985)
7. 1,2,3, by Gloria Estefan (1991)
8. Footloose by Kenny Loggins (1984)
9. I found someone by Cher (1987)
10. Young at heart by the Bluebells (1984)
11. Living in a box by Living in a box (1987)
12. Call me by Go west (1985)
13. Get outa my dreams, get into my car by Billy Ocean (1987)
14. Ride on time by Black Box (1989)
15. Eve of the War '89 remix by Ben Liebrand (1989)
16. Hand on your heart by Kylie Minogue (1989)
17. My favourite waste of time by Owen Paul (1986)
18. In the army now by Status Quo (1986)
19. Broken Land by the Adventurer (1988)
20. Sewing the seeds of love by Tears for fears.(1989)

Well you must agree that there are certainly some good ones to remember on here, and a few of my favourites too.
Some of these bands and artists are still going strong today, i mean look at kylie Minogue "Hand on your Heart" was her second number one hit in 1989.
Another are Duran Duran who are one of my favourite groups, still going strong today and are currently working on a new album.

A few of the songs on here are one hit wonders like "Footloose" "I'm a wonderful thing Baby" and "Kiss me". God knows whatever happened to these after the hits were over.
The others on here did have a lot of success in the 80's and then just faded out with time, but did give us good music in that era.

Quite odd though there is one from 1991 Gloria Estefan with 1,2,3. What this is doing on an 80's album I'll never know !!

This double album is well worth the money and a great listen to all of those old favourites.
