, cuddly toys, DVDs and other items. FatherChristmas is probably my favourite ever version of the big guy, and watching this cartoon never fails to make me laugh and feel like Christmas is really coming!
The Snowman tells the story of a young boy called James who creates a snowman in his garden on a snowy Christmas Eve. Christmas magic must be in the air because the Snowman comes to life, and comes into James' house, trying on all the clothes and having fun with James. But more magic is to come when The Snowman flies James through the air to the infamous song "Walking In The Air" over to a party with many other magical snowmen, and FatherChristmas himself! Advantages: An interesting take on St. Nick, fairly funny and wonderfully animated Disadvantages: Not as enjoyable as 'The Snowman', could be seen as a bit too strange
quite endearing about the character, in a funny 'my gosh he's a bit of a miserablist' kind of way although there are parts of the movie where some of this charm is lost a little.
HOW FATHERCHRISTMAS BECAME MOODY
Nine years after the immortal Snowman first hit the screens, the BBC (instead of Channel 4) released another television movie, which was again based on a book by Raymond Briggs. Like 'The Snowman' the animation and aesthetics of 'FatherChristmas' were designed by Dianne Jackson, who later went on to work on the adaptations of the Beatrix Potter picture storybooks, 'The World of Peter Rabbit'. The animation owed a lot to the original stories and like its Briggs predecessor, looked like it had been ripped straight from the 2D sketches of the books themselves.

it makes me laugh.
there is no mr clause just santa and his reindeers.
he goes on holiday but scotland is to cold france is too snooty and ends up in las vegas.
when returning home he sorts out the mail and packs up the toys..
these are great family cartoons my kids love these
they find it difficult to sit and watch most things but these really hold their attention.
