Advantages: huge variety of features, great sound quality... Disadvantages: Price, my specifically unreliable model, not vampire-friendly :P
I just sold mysoul to the Devil - or so it feels like it after signing up for a two year contract for an O2 iphone. My mother would be highly disproving if she knew the cost of this transaction. But was it worth it?
So far it's been a love-hate relationship between me and my Iphone. Why hate? Well, there's the fact that it would not turn on last night, not even when I tried to charge it. I almost threw it against the wall. I swear I even bit it with frustration. All I did was turn it off at the cinema just for me to go home and find out it wouldn't turn on again. This is a problem. I don't use my landline phone and everybody contacts me via my mobile. If there's an emergency I'm screwed. So can someone then tell me why my iphone wouldn't turn on last night and then magically would turn on this morning if severely craving battery charge ...
Advantages: A nice looking phone Disadvantages: Poor battery life
At last, the waited day had arrived - the day when I was able to upgrade my son's mobile phone.
It is six weeks since he decided to go on his kayak with his mobile in his pocket, and so he had been using an old phone with his sim in, this did NOT suit his 'strret cred' - I mean at 13 years of age you have to have the right image ( or so he thinks!!)
So off we went to T-Mobile to see what he could get.
There was no way I was uping his contract enought to get the top of the range phone's he was after( in two years he has had one phone die in the washing machine and the Lancaster Canal has done for two more!!)
In the end, after about an hour ( just how long do kids need to look at phones ??) he decided on the Samsung SGH U900 Soul.
APPEARANCE
The result of our 1 and a half hours in T-Mobile came in a small box ...
Advantages: Creamy shower smoothie, smells delicious Disadvantages: A few seeds
I remember my Mum having a box of Radox bath salts in the bathroom for soothing aching muscles, so that is going back over 50 years ago! By the time I got married Radox had produced a liquid version of the bath salts and by the 1970's shower gel had come on the scene. Liquid soap for hand washing followed later as did bath essences, now 100 years after the first Radox bath salts there is a very up-market range of bath essences and a new shower product called "Shower smoothies", as well as other a range of other shower gels.
I love free samples, who doesn't? So recently on Pigsback when there was a chance of a sample I sent in my details and was pleased to see I was lucky enough to get a 50ml sample called "Soul Soother". It was a pretty pink colour creamy mixture, not the usual gel like consistency. The tube stands on it's flip lid ...
