Based on a novel by David Wertheimer, with a story not related to any factual or historic event, Von Ryan's Express stars Frank Sinatra and Trevor Howard and tells the story of survival against the odds in a war torn Europe.
Released in 1965, Sinatra plays Colonel Joseph Ryan, a smart thinking American Pilot who after getting shot down by the Italian Army is sent to an Italian run Prisoner of War camp for what is expected to be the remainder of the war. Upon arrival Ryan is immediately made the head of the Allied prisoners as he holds the highest rank. Here Ryan meets with the Camp Commander and through negotiation surrenders information on the escape tunnel that is secretly being built for receipt of supplies such as Soap, Food and clothes which immediately improves the quality of life. I played this not long after playing GTA3 as I was hoping for something of a similar style. Bad mistake to make.
Driver is exactly what is says. It's purely driving to certain points to complete your mission. You should generally avoid the police as chances are you will be speeding and they're far from easy to shake. The most disappointing thing is that although you're told what the mission is you don't see much story even in the shoddy cutscenes and it doesn't even feel like you're taking part in one.
Driver consists of you driving from one point to another then back. That is repeated throughout the entire game and it never changes, it's completely and utterly mundane. At the time I played it the graphics were very poor, at the time of release I have no idea how good those graphics would be considered to be.

Album Notes
Canadian singer/songwriter Ryan Driver has played in a host of bands, but FEELER OF PURE JOY is his first solo excursion. A spare, acoustic-oriented effort, it's focused squarely on Driver's singing and guitar. His voice is a flexible instrument capable of hopping up and down registers as it darts ably around his nimble finger-picking. Driver's songs have their roots in folk and country, but he keeps things interesting both lyrically and musically by setting things just slightly askew with idiosyncratic left-field moves.
