Dangermen Sessions Vol.1, The - Madness
Review of Dangermen Sessions Vol.1, The - Madness by  Ward1981

Advantages: A good mixture of covers
Disadvantages: Not enough songs!

...Madness in the their latter years somewhat lost touch, and lost their connection with their roots. Everything that made them who they were in the late part of the 70's had all but gone by as early as 1981. But 2005 saw Madness take a welcomed return to those roots we all missed. However it wasn't with new writings or recordings. It was covers of those bands that helped create them. The Dangermen Sessions - Volume 1. From the soulfulness of The Supremes - You Keep Me Hanging On to the roots reggae of Bob Marleys' - So Much Trouble In The World. Not to mention covers of The Kinks, Desmond Dekker and of course, probably the man who played the biggest influence on Madness. . . . Prince Buster. This CD is a must have for any Madness fan.... Not one of Jigger's better offerings
Review of Blueprint Vol.2, The (The Gift And The Curse) [PA] - Jay-Z by  a1townsend2002

Advantages: A few great / hit records
Disadvantages: A lot of filler

...I dont think BP2 is one of Jiggers better albums.I am a big fan of Jay-Z especially his early offerings such as Reasonable Doubt and Vol 1. I found this a very frustrating album in many ways as, it has a few great records and a lot of inconsistent records, here are the good points on the album: The Watcher 2 with Dr Dre and Rakim,a great record with excellent lyrics from jigger,dre and rakim with a heavy beat. I Had A Dream was a good concept taken from the Samuel Jackson barclaycard advertisement, Bonnie & Clyde with Beyonce was the summer anthem a couple of years back and apert from a couple of good verses on badly produced tracks such as Hovi Baby (the verses on that are outstanding) but the production didnt compliment the song as well as I know producer Just Blaze usually does. I also thought that making it a double disc... Read review
