Advantages: Very good for the ears Disadvantages: crap if your not into Psycobilly
...Only been into Psycobilly for a short while, but The Meteors seem to the best about. Past tracks like The wrecking crew will always be an anthem for this type of music. this album is keeping in the style and even a bit more roar. The Meteors are better known for there live act but to keep up with demand they release an album or two over time. and this is deffinatly going to be up there at the top of rockabilly charts if there was such a thing. the meteors will also be playing at this years Speed Freaks ball, for info on this you'll have to search, but do not miss it.
If you buy an other Psycobilly or rockabilly album you'll be disapointed you didn't get this one. Buy and rock on you '' sick things''...

Advantages: genius Disadvantages: little variety between songs (but if it aint broke dont fix it)

...on in "The system maintains" (an altogether finer song in my opinion), which ends with
Fight one another
And you f**k yourselves, fools
If you're looking for the answer
Then the answer is you
The second side opens with "Seventeen", which i have always thought was one of the poorer songs on the album, but the cobwebs of apathy are blown away by "Anarchy for the U.K.", the song which made them (in)famous, having already earned a degree of notoriety from their first U.K. tour with the Damned and The Clash - and of course, the appearance on Bill Grundy's live talk show cemented their career, and finished his.
The song doesn't actually discuss anarchy at all - it's nihilistic in content:-
I am an anti-christ
I am an anarchist
Dunno what i want
But i know how to get it
"Anarchy...
