Oh lordy, Eurpoe's Final Countdown... The school discos during the innocent years before alcopops. Walking in a big circle around the dancefloor with your pals, eyeing cute guys and envying the couples snogging in the dark corners, mirror balls spinning, a bit of smoke lingering in the air... The overall feel of it is this sweet desperation that eventhough we are heading for Venus, we still stand tall and are together. Advantages: good guitar solo's

...Europe, haha. They're just funny. The one-hit wonder Final Countdown hitmakers now show the world their 'greatest hits'. What? 'Greatest hit' i think. To be honest, i had not heard of any other song on the album until i bought it, except from the comical 'Final Countdown'. To be fair, Europe aren't too bad, they're talented musicians, who write wierd, origianal (sort of) music, and also did an amazing, power-pop single Final Countdown, which they are famous for. The other tracks on the album all sound a lot like 'final countdown', and undergo the same format, but they are catchy enough. You should buy this album so you can play it in front of your friends for a laugh, but it is no-way insightful or easy listening. I don't know what sort of people genuinly like Europe, but i am not one (my friend bought the CD for a joke, i am borrowing... Read review
