This is an another incredible album made by the pink floyd. Apart from the lyrics the solos that David Gilmour plays are fantastic as well. The song called The Final Cut in the album has amazing lyrics and to top it off towards the end, the solo that David Gilmour plays is just incredible. Wright's unofficial replacement for the making of the album was maestro Michael Kamen. Having worked previously on The Wall, Kamen seemed fitting to provide the orchestral support to Waters' songs. His work on The Final Cut is mostly superb, with tracks like The Post War Dream and The Fletcher Memorial Home providing great examples of his studious support. This is my one of their favorite albums they have made.

Advantages: Griping emotional lyrics, very unique,it feels as if the songs are full of anger and sadness that hold so much raw powere the songs feel as if theyre forced upon you! Disadvantages: Solely a Roger Waters album,no atmosphere nor warmth,a very dark and cold set of songs full of rage and anger!
