Advantages: One of America's best exports Disadvantages: Not enough people know about them
I guess at this moment in time you may be thinking, ?Who the hell are they?? Well for me they are one of the best things to ever to come out of the U.S.A. Them and the Fun Lovin? Criminals (FLC) I mention the FLC, because like them the Dandy Warhols are bigger over here than they are back home. I will forgive you if you are not familiar with them as their biggest hit was ?Not if you were the last Junkie on Earth? which was back in 1997. The best description of their style I suppose is a modern day seventies Rolling Stones (does that make sense?).
?Thirteen Tales From Urban Bohemia? is their third album and was released in 2000. ?Q? Magazine made this album one of their top 50 releases of that year ? high praise indeed. As the title suggests, Courtney Taylor-Taylor (only in America could you get a name like that) has taken his ...
Advantages: Decent performances and some witty remarks. Disadvantages: It's very derivative and predictable.
has natural charisma that makes him a capable leading man and a sense of fun that lends itself to romantic comedy. He?s such a charmer he could have chemistry with furniture if required. He pulls another perfect English accent out of the bag as Tom LeFroy and brings enough attitude to convince as a cocky man-about-town that just needs the right woman. Julie Walters is on form as the bustling and often exasperated Mrs Austen, though she can be a touch caricaturish. Dame Maggie Smith puts in a fine comic performance as the sour-faced, strained and often downright rude Lady Gresham ...
Advantages: attractive, powerful, emotional, amazing vocals, great range of tracks, outstanding power Disadvantages: n/a
I cannot believe its only been two years since I first fell in love with ITV lunch time chat show Loose Women. It feels like it has been part of my life for so much longer than that! During that time I grew to idolise the panel; each and every one of them is genuine. I don't have a favourite ? how could I possibly choose? They're all unique but equally fantastic with their own strong personalities and set minds. One of these lovely ladies is Jane McDonald!
Now Jane's career, like the rest, did not start out as a Loose Women! Born in 1963, the Yorkshire lass toured local pubs and bars, before travelling on cruises, singing beautifully for everybody. After signing a record deal she released several successful albums as well as an autobiography, Follow Your Dreams, and appeared in TV show, 'The Cruise', and of course, Loose Women when ...
