Advantages: Can make fresh low fat chips and wedges, easy to clean
Disadvantages: Bit big so takes up room, takes quite a long time to cook, caught on fire

...I love the chips and wedges (that I made with fresh organic potatoes), and so do the family. It is much cheaper to make your own, once you have bought the product, but takes a longish time to cook - up to 45 mins depending on how much you cook. One kilo of wedges take 45 minutes. Less takes a little less time. The instructions are easy to follow from the recipe book, I haven't tried any of the interesting recipes in there. I can't use wheat flour so substituted rice flour for the wedges which also use two tablespoons of oil, and I added spices as per recipe but my own choice of spices. The actifry is easy to dismantle and clean in the dishwasher and it doesn't smell much when cooking. However after just 5 uses my actifry caught on fire and it is really lucky I noticed this right away or it could have been very serious, so... Read review

...numbers. Unoriginal it may be, but for the most part of their set it rocks ? albeit half way through the singer?s ?I?m a punk rocker/ Yes I am? sounds rather unconvincing. The mellower ?Fun and Games? starts nervously, but new single ?Jerk It Out? goes down well. The band blend retro-rawk à la Black Rebel Motorcycle Club with punky Ash and once they work on their audience interaction should be well worth seeing. [UPDATE: Two years later, 'Jerk It Out' is to be re-released following it's use in the iPod adverts. I'm glad I bought the album for £3.99 years ago when no one knew who they were!
