After singing we are on our way to grandpa's farm and with the use of great imagination Barney takes Baby bop, Rachel, Jackson & Bj to visit Farmer Dooley's enormous farm, once there the adventure and learning begins. In this dvd children are taught all about everyday farm life. They are taught how differerent vegatables are grown. In the movie barney sings old macdonald had a farm which is a great way for children to learn about the different animal sounds. Advantages: Big Dinosaur meets zoo animals - what can I say
Disadvantages: having to watch it over and over again

...I'm sure all of you will have heard of Barney at some stage but if you aren't sure what this big purple dinosaur is about I'll explain. He is brought to life by children's imaginations and is joined by them on their adventures along with 2 younger dinosaurs called Baby Bop and BJ. Barney has been around as long as I can remember and is a great teaching aid in a variety of areas including counting, abc's, and music as well as introducing morals and manners. He can be a bit overbearing for parents but my kids have always liked Barney and this is especially good for pre-school children. In this video Barney goes outside into the real world which is a bit more unusual as previous videos have involved studio settings. Disadvantages: Long Chapters!!

...and allowed me sufficient information so I was confident that I would enjoy reading the novel. I found I immediately started to enjoy reading the book from the very first page. Initially I liked the concept of a formally successful actor coming down to cold and bleak Brighton in December to try and re-build his failing career and win back his soon to be ex-wife. Not only that, I liked the idea of this loner Derek Oswin desire to highlight the health implications of the former Plastic's factory where he used to work 13 years before. Since then he had made it his life's work to bring to the attention of the public of the amount of former employees who have since died of cancer.
