This album is one of the best albums i own, simply because it's the strokes doing what they do best... Making music!
From the very first track there is some great guitar and the lead vocalist's awesome and distinctive lyrics. This album can be enjoyed by a lot of people.
And you know how songs near the end of the album seem to be a bit distasteful or plain rubbish? Well this is NOT the case. The second to last track, Ize of the world, is an awesome song with a brilliant guitar solo that sounds PERFECT for the song.

Here is my summary of each track on the album:

* You Only Live Once
This song is possibly the best on the album(awesome video by the way, you should google it). The song is a little bit like a queen song, the name escapes me now.
* Juicebox
This is the first song that was released off the album. There is a cool rock bass line throughout this song that i particularly like.
* Heart In A Cage
This has some cool guitar in!
* Razorblade
Again, some cool guitar. this song was not released on single. Reminds me a bit of 'oh Mandy you came and you gave me a turkey'
* On The Other Side
Great song, easy listening.
* Vision Of Division
I've heard this on a lot of TV programs, I don't think this song has been released on single tho.
* Ask Me Anything
Another easy listening song like 'On the Other Side'
* Electricityscape
This song has the guitar solo repeated at the end, it's good and effective.
* Killing Lies
This is another simple song that is easy to listen too.
* Fear Of Sleep
Awesome song that builds up throughout.
* 15 Minutes
My personal favourite ;-) This song has a great bit towards the end where the lyrics are a count up to '12 major chords'
* Ize Of The World
This is the song with a great guitar solo that i can listen to other and other again.
* Evening Sun
Another easy listening song, good lyrics.
*Red Light
The second best/third best song on the album in my opinion. Some great guitar going on in here.

This album is top-notch ten out of ten for any fan of good music. I recommend.
