Norma Restarick is a 'third girl' - asked to take the last and smallest room in a shared flat. Believing she has committed a murder, she is advised by Poirot's friend, Ariadne Oliver, to ask Poirot for his help. When she meets him, however, she runs off, believing he is too old to help her. Poirot is intrigued, and begins to piece together the background to Norma's life, believing her to be innocent of murder, although she is clearly mentally fragile. But if she didn't commit the murder, who did? And what happened in Norma's past to make her so fragile? Bit by bit, Poirot gets closer to the real murderer, ably assisted by Mrs Oliver.
This is the latest story in the Poirot adaptations, and was shown on TV only a couple of months ago. As a collector of all the DVDs in the series, this was a must-have for me, and although The Third Girl ...

Even though I am not a major fan of Frank I have a huge liking for this album and thought I had to tell you about it. I only own this album as I mostly download my songs but as I was going to buy ?Love Ire and Song? but decided on this one instead which i was greatly impressed by.
Who Is Frank Turner?
I wouldn?t know why anyone wouldn?t have heard of him but for those who haven?t Frank Turner is a Folk song writer and singer who was a former vocalist for the punk band Million Dead. He was born in 1981 and has released several successful albums including the compilation album ?TheFirstThree Years?. Frank became known when he joined Million Dead in 2001 and stayed with them for four years releasing two albums; after they spilt he decided to become solo and has done many shows around London.

When the album ?TheFirstThree Years? was first released there was a feeling that it was just going to be looked at as a stop-gap whilst people waited for Frank Turner to release his new album, but it is much more than just a stop-gap. Seeing as I was new to Frank Turner there was a lot for me to catch up on and being able to purchase an album that charted his firstthree years was truly a wonderful asset. There is genuinely good quality music on this album and it is honestly worth listening to.
If you are a huge fan of Frank Turner's then you might already have some of the songs in your collection, but it is good to have an album that contains all of the songs together. My friend has this album and she still has some of the singles that Frank released.
