...The Automatic: A Cardiff based four-piece student band who have been riding the tidal wave of success since the release of their single "Monster" in 2006. The band, who formed loosely at the age of twelve, and after some re-grouping, became The Automatic, released their debut single in 2005. "Recover" is virtually unheard of due to the fact only 1500 copies were ever produced and didn't even give the band a stepping-stone towards chart success. Their second single "Raoul" released in 2006 went to number 32 but faced the same dismal incompetence as the first.
The band's chart debutting track, "Monster" propelled them into the charts, and parted the sea of obscurity for the band. Their album "Not Accepted Anywhere" was released in June 2006, on the back of the success of "Monster" and the band have been riding high ever since.

...Steps are a typical band made in the studio for Teenagers though there fame is based on Abba who came before it is in my opinion sad becasue all bands like these lack anything new its has more to do with how the material is managed than talent to there sucess and I am one for bands who make there own music both in song writing and sound protuction rather than someone else writing the song and making the music and getting some faces to go along with this, I will be the first to say that I am ever more critical of these kind of bands but when you have much better talent out there who are not getting the break because of this dross it is a sad state
The 12 songs on this album are:-
steptro
last thing on my mind
5678
one for sorrow
heartbeat
this heart will love again
experienced
too weak to resist
better best forgotten

Advantages: A fantastic dose of cheesy pop! Disadvantages: A couple of slushy mushy ones!
...How many years is it since Steps split up? 3, 4, to be honest I’m not too sure now, so much has happened since then. But at the time steps were my life! (Yeah, yeah very sad I know!) But regardless of this Steps will always be one of my favourite bands!
I know Step One is a really old album, but I had it on today and it brought back loads of memories of my “Steps Days!” so I thought I’d have to write a review about it!
***Steps***
Steps were a chart-topping group of 5 pop stars, 2 boys, “H” and Lee, and 3 girls, Lisa, Faye and Claire. Steps were one of the most popular groups of the late 90’s. There music was classed as pop, although most people I know say it is cheesy pop! They were well known for they’re easy to pick up dance routines for each cong they released!
***Step One***
Step One was released in 1998; it was the first album...

Advantages: Great talents Disadvantages: The talents wore out and were never that good!
...Having written this opinion a while back now, the actual splitting of STEPS has not affected me at all! This opinion was all hyped on how long STEPS were going to last written back in 2001! Now they have actually split up...
StEpS WAS a band of 5 which included Faye, Lisa, claire, Lee and H who had been around for quite a while and finally realised there time was up! I have no right to say that STEPS were a complete failure because they were totally 100% not! They were a sucessful band/group but came and went just like the once famous 'sPiCe gIrLs' but sTePs actually split making their ' long era' actually come to a shooting halt!
THE STEPS UPWARDS
=
The group came together in 1997 when there was a competition, all 5 members of sTePs came together together to form the amazing group.
The band then released its first...
