Advantages: Great songs in following Across Five Aprils style Disadvantages: Not a full album
...‘Living in the moment’ (2004) is the third release from Across Five Aprils after their 2003 release of ‘A Tragedy In Progress’ and the 2002 ‘Cut Me And I’ll Bleed Rock N Roll’.
This is a five track EP which shows off a great Across Five Aprils emo sound with some hardcore parts but it does not involve as much hardcore sounds in the vocals and in the music such as the riffs and drumming as much as the previous 'A tragedy in Progress’ and the later 2006 album 'Collapse'.
The first song on the album is 'Saving Seats' which kicks in with some guitar sound effects and then with a drum kick it starts in to a good guitar riff with backing drums which is added to with some more repetitive guitar playing and then with the singing vocals playing in it adds another depth to the music which is very much in the heavy emo scene...

Advantages: a nice change Disadvantages: some poor tracks
...If you were one to suggest that Nu Metal is a combination of hardcore and melodic rock with a slight death metal bent then grudgingly i must admit Five Pointe O lives up to this definition. This album is based upon creating gut-wrenching vocal screams that slide into melodic singing, while the band cruises along with some superb crushing musical moments. As much as you want to hate it, they're better than most within this genre, and their understanding of melody, hardcore, and metal make them a winner if you want some good nu metal.
double X minus.
This song starts with a nice little heavey guitar riff underlaid by some sorta keyboard sample of some sort. this tends to be done throughout the album. the vocals swing between gut wrenching screaming into nice melodic singing.
King of the Hill
This is one of my favourite tracks...

...Series Vol.4 - Bob Dylan Live 1966."
Subtitle: "The 'Royal Albert Hall' Concert"
Venue: Manchester Free Trade Hall, May 1966
...Background...
Bob Dylan had shot to fame for taking Folk music to the front of international consciousness. From the early unique styled Folk album 'Bob Dylan' Dylan had in fact constantly been shifting his direction. He became the most respected protest songwriter of the time and his songs became anthems for the peace and love movement. With the socially conscious, politically motivating messages Bob Dylan had won the respect of not just society as a whole but also of the intellectual elite. Come 1966 however and something was different. Bob Dylan was a different Bob Dylan to the one who had won over all that respect.
He had become a modern day prophet, there were people hanging to his words...
