...I would recommend this to anyone, young people and older people. Anyone who likes 70's music. The variety of music on this CD is much more than any other disco CD I have seen. This is the type of CD that you can put on in your car while driving to work and it will cheer up your day or get you in the mood for a party. The album is full of oldies but goodies, that make you want to sing and dance. Ofcourse it holds all of the 70's classics like The Jacksons, Earth Wind and Fire and Candi Staton, which you find on all other 70's and disco cd's but 101 Disco Anthems has so much more "Hustle" to offer!... .... Add a few scratches and a rap and you have this Gotta Hold Over Me - Coko. Poor song. In my opinion Coko isnt the most gifted singer and you can tell on this track. Not one of Phils greatest and not one of Coko's either I Dont Care Anymore - Kelis. Produced by the Neptunes, this is a harsh track with an 'I Hate You So Much Right Now' shouty feel to it. You would either love or hate this Cant Turn Back The Years - Joe. Not to disimilar to the original and it works. The best track on the album, Joes voices gives this tune so much credit. It really does work. Quality Do You Remember - Debelah Morgan. Poor again, she has a good voice and it comes through but the production is not great and its a big let down Against All Odds - Montell Jordan. This is worse than the Westlife version. ...This cd is an absolue bargain. I would highly recommend purchasing this as Bad Boy and Puff Daddy are well known for producing good remixes and the series of albums was a very good idea, another money spinning venture but one for the fans who had remixes on b sides of cd singles and recorded off the radio! Special Delivery - G Dep, Ghostface Killah, Keith Murray & Craig Mack. Quite a repetitive tune but a cult favourite. More likely to hear it in the clubs I Need A Girl Part 2 - Ginuwine, Mario Winans, P Diddy & Loon. Video and single released off the back of the successful part 1. Some say they prefer this version, i actual do and its one of the best tracks on the album Bad Boy For Life - P Diddy, Busta Rhymes & MOP. A shouty version of the original. Not bad but too much going on lyrically for me, my ears couldnt take it I Need... Read review
