Advantages: Exceptional Lead Guitaring Disadvantages: Not Enough Songs
After the success of the 'Open Up And Say Ahh' album, Poison changed pace to bring you 'Flesh & Blood' their third album and in my opinion their best. Advantages: Some Great Lyrics Disadvantages: Not To Everyones Taste, Not Classic Poison
..., but although it's a definite change of pace and style, you can still hear constant splatterings of the Poison we all know. Bret Micheals great lyrics, Rikki Rockett's outstanding drumming and Bobby Dall's intense bass playing can be heard through this album and although Richie Kotzen ain't no C.C Deville, his guitaring is exceptional in places. Overall this album isn't perhaps as good as 'Open Up And Say Ahh' or 'Flesh & Blood', but it's not totally crap. 'Until You Suffer Some' and 'Theatre Of The Soul' would grace any Poison album. Not a good album to buy if it's your first Poison album, but worthwhile if you already have one or some of their albums....
