Flight To Denmark - Duke Jordan Trio

Advantages: Very emotional album, You'll want to carry it everywhere
Disadvantages: Enjoyment limited by environment.

...is positive, I'll go and buy the album. With Mew - And the Glass Handed Kites, one listen was all it took. When looking back at Mew's previous releases, I was quite shocked to find out that this is the 4th album they have released. Mainly as I'd never heard, nor heard OF them before. However it seems Mew have only very recently achieved the recognition they deserve. Hailing from Denmark Mew had a tough time breaking into the music industry, finally getting snapped up by Sony/BMG, but not before choosing to scrap plans to release their third album (other than a limited release in Sweden!?) which they planned to release on their own label. After getting signed this was decided against, and they proceeded to write and release 'Frengers' the 3rd album, and the one which made them. ...) Written in 1998 I'm personally not a big fan of this song but it's got a catchy beat. Angelic - Can't keep me Silent Written by Darren Tate in 2000 I would not say I love this song nor dislike it, it's a sort of in between song for my liking Safri Duo - Played-A-Live (the bongo song) Written in 2000 in Denmark this is more of a dance tune Santos - Camel Written by Santos himself in 2000 I'm not sure if I like this song but it has got a nice rhythm and beat to it Sonique - I put a spell on you Written by J. Hawkins First time I heard this song was watching hocus pocus, the sound effects on this song are great. Alice Deejay - The lonely one Now this is a great dance tune written in 2000 I still listen to this one it's a great tune to do the housework to Bob the builder - Can we fix it Written by Paul K. ...Aqua, love them or hate them, are a very succesful band to say the least. They brought us the likes of "Barbie Girl" and "Doctor Jones" This mad Danish band are currently working on their third album at a secret location in Denmark and it's likely to be another Euro, manic dance album. Aqua's debut album, Aquarium, went straight to the top of the charts in most countries, but their follow-up, Aquarius, was not so succesful. Aqua have matured (slightly) since the days of pink-haired Barbies and jumpy, childish basslines, as their second album was not quite so chaotic, but still extremely manic! :) A particular favorite on this album is a track called Halloween, and is all about a certain time of the year.
