Advantages: john denver is great folk song writer
Disadvantages: only if one does not like his style

What can one say about this collection? John Denver is master at combining colorful lyrics, melody, and realism. His songs touch,one's feelings, taking the person to different places by song. This is a wonderful collection of works, that everyone can appreciate. One would do oneself a big diservice, by not checking this album out. The perfect marriage of Rhythm & Rhyme…

Disadvantages: None come to mind

The perfect marriage of Rhythm & Rhyme… When this album was released in the March of 1992, I personally had never heard of K.D. Lang. All this was about to change with the release of “Constant Craving” as a single from the album I was completely blown away what a performance, I had never heard anything like it before. On one hand the vocals reminded me of an old torch singer like Peggy Lee or Patsy Cline but on the other hand ...

Advantages: Some great tracks
Disadvantages: Dreary packaging-- be best if you download the album!

Hailed by many as the new Bob Dylan, Willy Mason sure has a lot of weight to bare on his shoulders with this album debut. It's a little bit folky, a little bit country, a little bit rock; but all of it is very Willy Mason. One of my favourite things about this album is the fact it sounds so natural and unproduced, but in a good way. It does lack polish, but this is what makes it all the more likable.
