Advantages: definately sounds like country to me!!! Disadvantages: hard to say which is my fave album of hers!
i first discovered her whilst living in Canada and having CMT(Country channel) and hearing 'no place that far'a duet with vince gill, from her album of the same name. I then saw her on a women songwriting programme. Not only can this woman sing but she also writes. on this album she wrote/co wrote 5 of the 13 songs.
Her voice is quite country - some people say too country..as if there was such a thing! To me, she also has a tone that seems different ... ...not screechy!! or too twangy!!!
On this cd there is a mix of fast songs such as 'rockin horse', 'feel it comin' on' and a real country number 'suds in the bucket' and some lovely, poignant slowies like...'Niagara' and 'sad song'. But my personal favourite....'tonight'...

Excellent sound quality thought-out. I think this is one of the best Live Dylan I have heard.
Starts with the wonderful Tombstone blues-Clear messages great vocals.
Then, settling goes into the romantic Shooting stars.
Bursting into All along the watchtower followed by the times they are a changing’ makes you want to stand up and sway from side to side and join in with the singing.
John Brown is harrowing; you can do nothing else but listen to ... ...then gets faster for Rainy day woman-this change in tempo is a real pleasure.
A beautiful love song follows, this is really nice live and clear.
Dignity is interesting-you have to just listen to it and enjoy.
