Well this is KoRn's third LP, and clearly they've changed their style again, after what I thought was a poor second album in "Life Is Peachy". Maybe my title is a little inacurate as KoRn's first album was nothing short of brilliant but I consider this to be their best. Hard to define KoRn into a style as music, as they are very different from most bands. The innovative part of KoRn comes out in the bassist, Fieldy as far as I'm concerned. Listen to him play and you'll swear that it is not a bass-guitar. Not to be a conventional bassist, Fieldy describes himself as a drummer on bass. That's about as well as it can be described, but be assured that the bass lines are important to KoRn's sound. Jonathan Davis is on top form in this album, I can't understand how people can assume all Jon does is shoutand screaming. Aside from his shouting being minimal, Jon has an excellent voice. An interesting album considering the first track with any audio on is 13, the amount of times I've seen people put this on and say that the cd's broken....... Oh well better get down to the tracks:

It's On!:
Perfect starting track. Hard hitting right from the start, like I said a great track to start with.

Freak On A Leash:
A bit ironic that this track is about how KoRn hate corporate methods yet this is by far their most commercial track. Nonetheless a good track, most would say the best on the album but not me.

Got The Life:
Good high paced track. Jon is especially good on vocals and the chorus will get stuck in your head for days.

Dead Bodies Everywhere:
One of my favourite KoRn songs of all-time. One of Jon's better songs about
his relationship with his father. Great guitar riffs especially towards the end.

Children Of The KoRn:
Quite possibly the worst on the album. Rap and KoRn just do not go together. Not too bad but I often find it hard to resist skipping this one.

B.B.K.:
Excellent track and one of the gems of the album. The high-pitched effect from the guitars adds to the effect greatly.

Pretty:
Not at all a mellow track but a bit of a break after BBK. Slow pace and not what you'd expect from KoRn.

All In The Family:
Jon Davis and FRED DURST on vocals. But, not too bad at all, Fred plays his part and surprisingly his whiny voice contrasts well with Jon's roars. Good for a lugh as well - funny lyrics.

Reclaim My Place:
Great bass right from the start from Fieldy and a melody that will get in your head.

Justin:
Another of my all-time faves. Great riff, good aggressive track. Full of energy.

Seed:
Another good song from Jon about his relationship with his father. Seemingly mellow but then the track will just explode when you least expect it.

Cameltosis:
A bit strange for me this one. Unlike anything KoRn have ever done and to be honest I consider it to be filler.
