Ok, this is a deeply biased review because I think "Got The Life" is one of the greatest tracks recorded by Korn. However, the whole album is filled with gems, with the possible exception of Cameltosis. From 13 blank tracks, building anticipation until the aptly titled "It's on."
Overall, the album is somewhat experimental, traditional heavy metal influences are funked up, with the addition of more hip-hop and disco elements. From simplistic name-calling in "All In The Family" to the deeply disturbing "Pretty" your senses are constantly bombarded with new sounds.
Overall, this is probably the easiest album to start with when listening to Korn. The raw sound of the first album has been tempered by experience.
Oh, and wait for the hidden track at the end.

I haven't listened to this for years! All in the family always did my head in though (mainly cos I can't stand Fred Durst!)

I'm not an expert on music opinions, but I think you'd need to give much more detail about the variety of tracks on the album for higher ratings - but this is a good basic summary. Jo

Advantages: there are all the good songs put in to one spectacular album including freak on a leash and got the life Disadvantages: there arent any disadvantages
Advantages: Groundbreaking experimental and inventive Disadvantages: Bizarre sounds unsettle you. Disturbing traumatizing expletive lyrics not for the fainthearted
