If you dont feel like you have to buy every individual album of the Rolling Stones, just because your a "fan" or if you have them all anyway, but would just rather like a copy of their classics for when your in the mood. Id say "Forty Licks" covers pretty much all of their greatest work, from their post 60's/70's fame.

The "Forty Licks" album includes a 24-page color booklet with notes from David Wild. The songs on this disc are as follows:
DISC 1
1. Street Fighting Man
2. Gimme Shelter
3. Satisfaction, (I Can't Get No)
4. Last Time, The
5. Jumping Jack Flash
6. You Can't Always Get What You Want
7. 19th Nervous Breakdown
8. Under My Thumb
9. Not Fade Away
10. Have You Seen Your Mother Baby?
11. Sympathy For The Devil
12. Mother's Little Helper
13. She's A Rainbow
14. Get Off My Cloud
15. Wild Horses
16. Ruby Tuesday
17. Paint It, Black
18. Honky Tonk Women
19. It's All Over Now
20. Let's Spend The Night Together
DISC 2:
1. Start Me Up
2. Brown Sugar
3. Miss You
4. Beast Of Burden
5. Don't Stop - (previously unreleased)
6. Happy
7. Angie
8. You Got Me Rocking
9. Shattered
10. Fool To Cry
11. Love Is Strong
12. Mixed Emotions
13. Keys To Your Love - (previously unreleased)
14. Anybody Seen My Baby?
15. Stealing My Heart - (previously unreleased)

17. Undercover Of The Night
18. Emotional Rescue
19. It's Only Rock 'N Roll (But I Like It)
20. Losing My Touch - (previously unreleased)

The Rolling Stones:
Mick Jagger (vocals, guitar, harmonica, percussion)
Keith Richards (acoustic & electric guitars, bass, bowed double bass, background vocals)
Mick Taylor (electric & slide guitars, bass)
Brian Jones (electric guitar, sitar, recorder, harmonica, piano, marimba, tamboura, background vocals)
Ron Wood (electric guitar, background vocals)
Bill Wyman (bass, maracas, background vocals)
Charlie Watts (drums, percussion, background vocals).

Obviously the Stones are one of the greatest rock and roll bands in history, with all the usual negitive side affects (booze, sex and drugs) taken thier toll on the performers in the band, this album is just a reminder to what they used to be. I personally think its their best, im glad its been released. Now at least all the children of the future will be left able to see what rock and roll really is.
Forget the Kooks, The killers, The Feeling. They will all be forgotten ina year, or less if i get my way. The Rolling Stones have been going for more than 40 years, and they will be remembered for a long time to come.
