Fountain, The (Original Soundtrack) - Kronos Quartet & Mogwai

Advantages: Allows you to relive the film from moment to moment, wonderful composition, Additctive overture.
Disadvantages: Tracks are fragmented and short

.... They are just like you or me with hopes and aspirations which are thwarted because of severe addiction. Album Cover ~ It's a bold image of a blue eye you cant miss it... as it stares right out at you. The DVD and CD have similar design. The symbol of the eye is a trademark of the film, similar to the Pi symbol on the cover of Aronofkys previous film Pi. Kronos Quartet ~ Founded in 1973 they are based in San Francisco. A well reputed String Quartet featuring two violins (David Harrington, John Sherba) a viola played by (Hank Dutt) and cellist (Jennifer Culp). Advantages: A musical experience from start to end

...Mogwai = 5 men Origin = Scotland DOB = 1996 Mogwai, a leading runner in the genre of post-rock, formed in 1996. With 4 albums along with various LPS and remixes under their belts, much was anticipated of the 2006 release of Mr. Beast. Mogwai fans has long anticipated this album, many hailing it as the album that would being mogwai to the forefront of the UK music scene. That album was released nearly a year ago, yet Mogwai are still unheard of in mainstream UK. That does not mean this album isn't for you. This album, is a masterpiece, from start to finish. Advantages: Outkast track is superb
Disadvantages: First movie's soundtrack outclasses it

...Firstly, if Barbershop Quartets aren't really your scene, this soundtrack can perhaps change your perception of the type of music commonly associated with middle aged men dressed in red and white striped suits, armed with harmonicas and over grown moustaches (obviously because it's the Barbershop 2 film). This soundtrack compliments the film well, (as soundtracks from musical films often do) and proves to be an enjoyable listen for the casual listener, though if you're looking for traditional Barbershop, look elsewhere. The album features leading hip hop artists like Mary J Blige, G-Unit, Outkast and Floetry, as well as new artists such as Anthony Hamilton. Overall, the sountrack is not really worth the price if you have the first one, and can soon become overplayed. But what it lacks in originality, it makes up for in the excellent... Read review
