A fun way to spend an evening!

Rutter, a willowy blonde beauty, and wrangles her way into Anita's gang, the 'Wenches' who get up to no-good around Tollington's only sweet shop and fair. They annoy everyone including Mrs Omerod, the well meaning, but overbearing, sweet shop owner. The 'clash' of East and West culture was very interesting. Funny at times, thought provoking also, but then sad when an Indian friend of the family is killed - I won't say too much more about this since this is an important part of the film. When grandma comes to stay, we see an eccentric old lady and interestingly when she meets Mrs Omerod, who puts her foot in it regularly, the dialogue is quite interesting. Also, when a yob threatens Meena with a pen knife just for walking down the street, grandma pulls out a massive knife, waving it around so the yob backs off!! This was really funny!! I ...

Anita and Me

Advantages: very simple concept, pointless nostalgia
Disadvantages: concept becomes boring quite quickly

’t match what your opponent has said, and are therefore definitely not the card that they hold. The idea is to skilfully ask your questions eliminating as many people as possible as quickly as you can to be left with only one panel, which in theory should be the same one as your opponent has on their card. The winner is the person to get the correct answer first. Simple, eh? Many of the characters depicted on the cards were a little scary. Big lipped Susan looked like an albino Joan Rivers, whilst Alfred looked like the bastard offspring of a Saxon warrior and your school caretaker. Also, for some reason unexplained by science or logic, you always seemed to pick Anita from the card-pack. However, the makers had cleverly made each one different, so that there was always a question that would separate any two cards, even if it was ...

Ryvita Anita.

Advantages: low calorie, high fibre.
Disadvantages: ever chewed wood…

round earlier in the day and given the dog the bone I was saving, so I snaffled a Ryvita. I hid in the corner of the kitchen, quietly nibbling the stolen bounty, for it is a cardinal sin in our house for daddy to eat the food belonging to the master! *Taste and texture* How can I describe the taste and texture… it felt like I was chewing on very dry, crunchy sawdust.
