Advantages: a wide range of songs that everyone can relate to,an unusual voice Disadvantages: not everyones cup of tea
.I personally feel it was worth the money.
*So what do you get for your money?*
On the album there are 12 songs (which I will go into a bit more detail soon). You also get a booklet inside which includes the titles of all the songs on the album and who was involved with them.In between them are some pictures of anastacia and right at the end there is a "thanks page".The writing is pretty small but then it has to be for the amount of people she thanks. At the bottom of that it gives you her website address (www.Anastacia.com) and the record company website (www.Epicrecords.com).
I'll tell you now about each song as I listen to it.After all you need to know what kind of songs you'll get don't you?
Freak of nature = The song introduces itself with anastacia singing "I'm a freak" without any music background and with it fading in.Then the music ...
Advantages: FANTASTIC singer! Disadvantages: I paid £12!
a wind machine and lightening in the background! This gives the very powerful, independent look which can even look a little intimidating. But has any one else noticed that you rarely see her without glasses/sunglasses? Just a lil observation there!

I find that all her songs are very true to life and either are : about her/her life experiences, ex boyfriends, current boyfriends, or just love:) The songs are also really good for her voice and suit her versitility. It would have been nice if there were more songs on the album, because it would have made the price more worth it.
Track 1: Freak of Nature:
The title of the album, Freak ...
Advantages: some really good tunes Disadvantages: some really bad tunes, no lyrics supplied to sing along with the really good tunes
I've liked Anastacia since I first heard the track "I'm Outta Love" and instantly fell in love with it. Since then, I have liked most of the singles she has released, the funky "Paid My Dues" being my favourite. This song was the first release from her second album, "Freak of Nature" and was my reason for buying the cd in the first place.
The opening and title track "Freak of Nature" provides a funky upbeat introduction to this album - a great beat and fantastic lyrics about how she's different from all the rest combine to make an unbelievably catchy track, although the talking at the beginning of the song is a little irritating. After this, the misleadingly slow and eerie sounding introduction of "Paid My Dues" (her best tune to date, as I said before) leads us into this very r & b style track with its fantastic music and strong ...
