My taste in music is Catholic. In hat my taste in music is wide and varied. Which is why you will find me writing reviews on a wide range of musical styles and genres. One of my passions is the Blues. This review is a review of Comin' Home to the Blues, volume II. This really is a classic CD if its type. It sounds like a Whose Who in Blues Hall of Fame. There are tracks my Howlin' Wolf, Bo Didley, sonny Boy Williamson, Chuck Berry, Muddy Waters, Elmore James. Little Walter, Otis Rush, Etta James (who has one of the sexiest female voices ever. In any musical genre!) Willie Dixon, John Lee Hooker, Jimmy Rogers, Koko Taylor (who has the other sexiest female voices ever. In any musical genre!) Washboard Sam and Lowell Fulson. Mr Bean - The Animated Series - Vol. 2 DVD

Advantages: entertains the kids
Disadvantages: not brilliant, not that funny, more cute than funny

I'm sure everyone will remember the hilarious sketch series done by Rown Atkinson as Mr Bean that took the nation by storm in the 80's and early 90's. However he must feel that his looks have faded and has decided to hide behind the newest comedy snippet programme for kids ' animated Mr Bean'. Really I don't mind, and i'm sure that other won't either how ugly Rowan has got, he is and always wil be, a comedy genius. The introduction of a cartoon Mr Bean intrigued me and so bought the series on DVD. I wondered whether it really was rowan attikinson doing the voice of Mr Bean, and of course 'teddy', as it really doesn't sound like him at all and it wouldnt be surprising as the odd grunt and whimper can be done by anyone. The Blue South - A Beautiful and Colourful Effort

Advantages: A lyrical and melodical masterpiece with hidden depth
Disadvantages: Dark and seedy themes may not suit all tastes

1996. A BIT ABOUT THE BAND The Beautiful South ? most often described as an alternative rock group ? were formed in the late 1980?s out of the ashes of the Housemartins. Founded by Paul Heaton (singer and main songwriter) and Dave Hemingway (lead vocalist), they were joined by Sean Welch (bass), Dave Stead (drums) and Dave Rotheray (guitar). The band has had various female vocalists throughout their career ? originally Briana Corrigan (1988 to 1994) and then Jacqui Abbot (1994 to 2000), before Alison Wheeler joined the band for its last three years (2003 to 2007).
