Freeze Frame Shame!!!

Advantages: Gritty, Psychological Thriller Well acted by Lee Evans
Disadvantages: Very Little Publicity surrounded it's release

This is a film that i picked up one day in Blockbuster videos knowing nothing about it. As a Lee Evans fan i thoguht i would give it a go. This film was very different to what i expected as there is very little direct humour in the film. Although the character that Lee Evans plays is laughable due to the fact you could imagine someone actually doing this in a constant state of Paranoia. The film follows Lee Evans character, Sean Veil as he tries to ensure that every single move he makes, and i mean EVERY single move is captured on video so that he has a complete record of exactly what he was doing and when. This is basically because he was tried as a murder suspect many years before and has become very Paranoid and feels he always needs an Alibi as he will be framed again. Freeze!

Advantages: An unusual thriller
Disadvantages: The sharp and trendy editing

Freeze Frame is a dark brooding film that focuses on the daily life of accused murderer Sean Veil, as he has locked himself up in a fortress style warehouse complete with 24 hour camera's and a back catalogue of tapes. See, Sean's fear is that he will be accused of murder again, and therefore has given himself the perfect alibi. Now, a decade after the original killings, he finds himself on the opposite side of the law when one of the tapes accounting for his whereabouts during a brutal murder goes missing. Certain of his innocence, Sean goes on a cat and mouse chase of evidence to prove that he is innocent and that somebody else has framed him for murder.
