Advantages: Songs, mix/range of artists Disadvantages: None
a party. The songs are amazing. You have LMC vs U2 with "Take Me To The Clouds Above". I don't know how to define this song, it's not overdone with synthesizers and effects. You have Ultrabeat's uplifting track "Feelin' Fine", Motorcycle's "As The Rush Comes"(quite a moody and dark tune), Lasgo's "Surrender", Kelly Llorenna's powerful vocals on "This Time I Know It's For Real", Northern Heightz's dancefloor hit "Look At Us", Despina Vandi's sensational and rhythmic "Gia", Tiësto's "Traffic" and Tube & Berger and Chrissie Hynde's collaboration on "Straight Ahead". I believe they've got the right mix of artists on here, providing a variety of styles within the "dance" genre. As always, there are some naff tracks on here from one hit wonders or people you've never heard of, but the balance of these and all the artists & songs listed above makes up ...
Wow. I did have the original Clubland Classix CD, but after hearing it while at my friend's house in the holidays I realized that this would be a CD I would like to own so when it came out, I rushed to the store to get a copy!
Nowadays, people say that music like this is a load of rubbish. I have to admit, quite a lot of it is, but this CD doesn't just have songs released within the past year. We have songs from the early 2000's on here! I bought this from Tesco's when they sold it for under £10 (which was amazing, considering it contains 3CDS and it was only in it's second week of it's release. Tesco raised the price to £11 something the week after).
CD One:
We have songs from Cascada, Lasgo, Scooter, Ian Van Dahl, Darren Styles, Styles & Breeze and Sugababes to name a few. Some of the tracks have been remixed, however, they aren ...
Advantages: Great pop from 70's - 2007 Disadvantages: Some tracks not so good!
't need to skip many.
The cover is a group of mates in a club. The girls look like their having fun (not sure why they put a guy on the cover, he looks a bit boy-bandish). The title 'Big Night Out' is in pink, font is a scribble and this makes it appealing to teenagers/young girls. The top artists are listed 'MIKA/girls aloud/amy winehouse/gwen stefani/take that/scissor sisters/just jack/sugababes/nelly furtado.'
The back is black with tracklisting in pink.
CD1:
MIKA - Grace Kelly (*one of the newest and best tracks)
Scissor Sisters - I don't feel like dancing (*love this band after I saw them at T in the park)
Take That - Shine
Girls Aloud vs Sugababes - Push the Button
Gwen Stefani - What You Waiting for? (*I prefer No Doubt but Gwens becoming a pop queen)
Rhianna - SOS
Sophie Ellis Bextor - Catch you
Seamus Haji - Last Night ...
