There is a distinct problem for gamers in the gaming industry today. This is the feared phrase "movie tie-in". Usually this is some poorly made collect 'em up with a few similarities with the film to fool younger gamers into buying it. Still, sometimes we get lucky, and a developer actually sees beyond cashing in and makes a half decent game. Recently, this has been the case with the Spiderman franchise and although they were not strictly movie tie-ins, for games based around movies, they were very good indeed. So, is Spiderman: Friend or Foe a continuation of this trend?
Graphics/Sound
Surprisingly, the graphics aren't too bad and actually, they are one of the best things about this game. The same applies to the sound, which includes some decent sound effects and voice acting. The graphics do not push the Wii to the limit ...
Advantages: Nostalgia value, varied style Disadvantages: A few tracks not so much hits
a masterwork! An altogether unique track, which you could only dance to in the one also very unique way!
Ant Rap
If you think Rap is a new invention of the 90's, think again! Adam was rapping away, albeit slightly in his own unique way, way back on the Prince Charming album of '81. So let's put some wax on the track and slide on out of here....With his liberal sprinkling of French and much witty fast talk, this is a classic piece.
Goody Too Shoes
Taken from the Friend Or Foe album of 1982, this track starts with some familiar drumming, but then breaks into an almost jazzy number. Certainly a big contrast to the earlier work, much more "danceable", it'll certainly get your feet tapping, and your invisable trumpet into action.
Friend or Foe
The second track from the album of the same name. Plenty of trumpet in this too, breaking into ...

Advantages: Still got a groovy sound Disadvantages: Not a lot of excellent material
Friends of Hell was the not so known doom metal band Witchfinder General's 2nd album - originally released in 1983. It starts off with the track "Love on Smack" which sounds very similar to "No Stayer" from the band's debut album. This is a theme that goes throughout the album as the band seemed to have released an album which sounds like the leftovers of the first. The regurgatated work is stilll reasonable as the old school doom metal riffs are rather powerful combined with the singer's (Zeeb Parkes) Ozzy Osburne like howling vocals.
The worst track seems to be I lost You, where as moving as the lyrics maybe, the vocals are torturingly out of tune. I like Witchfinder General, their sound is enjoyable and if you are a fan this may still appeal but the album is without any of the classic tracks of the first "Death Penalty ...

Album Notes
Personnel: Adam Ant (vocals, acoustic guitar, violin, marimba, triangle, percussion); Vicki Brown, Jude Kelly, Sonia Jones (vocals); Marco Pirroni (guitar, bass guitar, castanets, percussion); Jeff Daly (saxophone); Martin Drover (trumpet, flugelhorn); Bogdan Wiczling (drums). Recording information: Townhouse Studios, London, England (06/1982). Adam Ant's first record without his back-up band The Ants proved to be his strongest album to date, as well as his mainstream commercial breakthrough. Keeping only guitarist Marco Pirroni on hand, Ant seriously backed off on the campy pirate/Indian/tribal-drumming motif that marked his earlier releases. The advent of MTV proved to be fortuitous for the dashing singer. His breakthrough single, "Goody Two Shoes," and its accompanying video got brought Ant a much larger American audience and introduced the libidinous side of the singer, a facet which was to become more pronounced in later releases. Elsewhere, the album chugs along with a heavy backbeat and piping horns, giving "Friend or Foe," "Place in the Country," and "Crackpot History and the Right to Lie" a percolating feel. Pirroni's 50's style twang guitar is a complementary counterpoint to Ant's British pop stance. "Here Comes the Grump" and "Made of Money" both benefit from his reverb-drenched guitar lines. The latter features a multi-part acapella section, a first for Ant.
