It was an offer I couldn't refuse! Godfather triology remastered

Advantages: A wonderful dvd that will stand the test of time
Disadvantages: Absolutely none

Years ago I had the video box set of the trilogy and it was pride of place in my video collection. However, times change and technology improves and now the dvd has taken over and so the wheel keeps on turning. One thing however, I am pleased to say has stood the test of time are the Coppola classics The Godfather, Godfather II and Godfather III. This review is based on the re-mastered Godfather Trilogy dvd collection. The Godfather The film begins at the home of Don Vito Corleone on the day of his daughter Connie?s wedding. A grand affair with anyone who is someone in attendance. Don Corleone ,played by Marlon Brandon, is attending to business in his study while in the background you can hear the music and laughter from the wedding guests in the garden. Review of The Godfather Trilogy: Remastered Collection (DVD)

Not Quite A Night To Remember

Advantages: A couple of decent tunes
Disadvantages: Inconsistent

Consisting of Jody Watley, Howard Hewett and Jeffrey Daniel (the later who was primarily a dancer for the group and taught Michael Jackson ho to perform the Moonwalk) the R&B band Shalamar made their debut in 1977 when they brought ?Uptown Festival? an album that would feature them doing some Soul, Disco and general R&B work. 1. ?Inky Dinky Wang Dang Doo? They get the album underway with a jam that has them showing exactly what direction you should expect from their music with their watered-down Funk to make for some general Pop and Disco material. Personally I felt that it was a pretty weak way to get things going and made a poor first impression as they bring a tune with some energy, but with very little happening other than gibberish being sang. **One Star** 2. ?Beautiful Night? My Jazzy 'Birth Of Cool' by Miles Davies Remastered.

Advantages: Excellent Jazz Album.
Disadvantages: None!

a little bit of everything included and each song holds also, some fantastic memories for me, about my Grandparents, when I was growing up. They both used to dance around a lot to this CD and those memories of this music are happy ones to me that make me smile to myself when I think about this. I love listening to this album a lot and not because I am a huge jazz fan or anything, but because my Grandparents and all these songs, really mean a lot to me. This Birth of cool CD was re-mastered in 1998, as it originally was on a LP and sounded a bit crackly. Well this newer version is not perfect either, but it sure is a lot better sound quality than before. A further remake of this album called ?The complete Birth Of Cool is now also available with lots more added tracks by Miles Davis and it sounds great. A Little Bit About Miles Davis ...
