In a parent's quest to find products and toys that will last longer than the average 6 month period that seems to be the norm with children's stuff I happened upon the Hedstrom 2 in 1 swing. At the time my 9 month old son loved swings and would squeal with delight as soon as he was sat in one and we decided to get one for our garden. I was taken by the idea of this swing as it combines a baby swing with a grown up swing allowing you to change both the seat and the height of the swingto adapt as your child grows. Priced no differently from the standard swings that I could see at the time I thought that this would be a better investment than purchasing a standard swing and then having to find a baby seat. I couldn't have been more wrong.

its a godsend!!! i have a slightly different colour from argos but the same swing/baby seat/toddler rocker my littly monkey joshua loves it as a swing. he loves being bounced and moving around and hates being still so this has been invaluble he loves being in it and as an added bonus it gives my arms a break! he falls asleep in it and really helped through the colic stage! i chose this as i thought it would last longer and get more out of it than others and i think i will get lots of use out of it for at least another year or two. my cousins daughter (2 years) came to visit and she was straight into all the baby teddys and then was occupied in the rocker. the frame collapses for storage but seat is solid so maybe not for you if your struggling for space! seat cover comes off to be washed and batteries last ages! great item highly ...
