Advantages: Highly varied Disadvantages: A few weaker tracks
"Intuition" came out late in 2008, and came as the third album from the comedian/actor-turned R&B singer, Jamie Foxx. It has him continue the success of "Unpredictable" with an album full of tunes which shows that he is in tune with the modern trends of today's R&B (despite coming into it late).
1. "Just Like Me" (feat. T.I.)
Here you have the big singel from the album and it has Foxx working alongside one of the biggest Hip Hop acts of 2008 as he gets T.I. to do a few lines in the middle of this one, and he really adds to this gentle R&B track which fits right in with what is found in tracks by its leading acts.
**Four Stars**
2. "I Don't Need It"
This one is a very different tune for Jamie Foxx as it has rather experimental production to it. Timbo is behind all of this, and comes with an Electronica-inspired one to show that ...
Advantages: Very emotional writing Disadvantages: Quite slow paced
Up until now, I'd only ever heard of ''John the Revelator'' as a song. Judging from the several mentions of the song in the story and given that author Peter Murphy works in the music press, I suspect that's where the title of this novel came from as well. His only human contact is with his mother Lily, Mrs Nagle, an elderly neighbour and Harry Farrell, a local jack-of-all-trades. His only break from the house and from school is Sunday Mass. Not ...
Advantages: Tasty, contain omega 3 for healthy heart, versatile item Disadvantages: Opening the can can be dangerous
John West Herring in Mustard and Dill Sauce is one of my cupboard staples. When I was younger, I never really used to like herring, but after a spell living in North Germany where pickled herring in all sorts of varieties are a very popular regional dish, I became addicted to the taste. Coming back to Britain, this particular brand and flavour is definitely one of my favourites.
So what's in the can? Well, you've got 67% of herring fillets, sunflower oil, water, dried skimmed milk, 3% mustard, spirit vinegar, sugar, salt, modified cornflour, dill, parsley, spices and the stabilisers guar gum and xhanthum gum. A whole can has about 490 calories and on the back it suggests that half a can is "a serving" but quite frankly only a stick-insect model type would be full after that small amount! The big advantage of an oily fish like ...
