I am a bit of a Jamiroquai fan so I apologise if you notice any biased comments during in this review, but this is a fantastic album. This is Jamiroquai's 5th album and so when I bought I expected it to be pretty good..........but I didnt expect it to be this good.
The cover of the album quite psychadelic and a bit weird with its black background and blasts of light coming out of Jay K (lead singer) who's jumping in the air. I guess this is appropriate to the album but I dont usually buy albums because of the cover so I dont think that matters too much.
Now to the album itself. I'm not going to describe every track to you in explicit detail because its quite hard to describe most of these tracks, however the one thing I will say which accounts for all tracks here is that before you listen to this you've got to forget what you already think about Jamiroquai and try to pretend this is a new artist you've not heard before. I think you'll enjoy the album alot more if you do this.

1.Feels so good - 5:21
Great start to the album. Extremely funky and upbeat with a really cool guitar riff. and use of everything electronic. This one has to be listened to.

2.Little L - 4:55
You have probably already heard this from the radio. The only track from the album that I'm aware of thats been released. Nice track. Strong bass with intervention from strings. A bit of a friday night dancy tune.

3.You give me something - 3:23
A well-timed track because its kind of samey and so if it went on for too much longer it might start to get annoying. Another tune with heavy bass this is quite chilled but at the same time still funky enough to be Jamiroquai.

4.Corner of the Earth - 5:40
The most original opening I have heard in ages has quite an eastern feel to it. This beginning develops into a really beautiful track using an acoustic and strings with a prominent voice proving that Jay K can actually sing ( not quite Justin Timberlake but he's getting there).

5.Love foolosophy - 3:45
A really cool, funky beginning leads on to one of those tracks thats not the best on the album but that could still be a favourite. You could see this as a popular dancefloor tune that makes everyone dance and that is played in clubs throughout the country...........or you could not!

6.Stop don't panic - 4:34
This is a bit of a standard Jamiroquai tune with some umph coz its really funky and highlights the acid jazz side of Jamiroquai. Not a bad track but anyone who doesn't like Jay K and his crew would say this is boring.

7.Black crow - 4:02
Another beautiful track with an acoustic solo to start which then becomes an accompaniment to vocals. With different lyrics this could be such a romantic tune; but its not. As I said this is really beautiful tune- worth listening to even if you dont get hold of the album.

8.Main vein - 5:05
Another really funky track that brings out the acid jazz side of Jamiroquai and again makes full use of all instruments available. This has been mixed really well and is another great track.

9.Twenty zero one - 5:15
I didnt like this at all when I first heard it, but its grown on me slightly. The worst track on the album, but would be the best on some dance artists. Not to most peoples taste but theres probably some people out there who like it.

10.Picture of my life - 6:17
Sae the best till last. Ahh, this is my favourite track and is so beautiful- I'm using that word kind of alot (I dont usually) but theres not really any other way to describe the tracks (‘Microsoft word’ only gives me attractive, fine-looking, handsome, striking etc.). I dont really want to describe this track to you because I dont want to do it any injustice whatsoever. Basically you just gotta listen to this one and have whatever opinion you want of it. For me its an 11/10. *this one is a grower (grows on you) so you've got to listen to it a lot to really appreciate it.

Ok there we go, not too painful I hope. This is Jamiroquai's best album. Apart from the last track there arent any ones to join the 'Jamiroquai classics' section as there are on the other albums. Nevertheless this is an amazing album. You gotta buy it if for the only reason that none of the tracks are flops!
