Advantages: amazing interpretation of a classical piece Disadvantages: Let me think about that.....hmmmmmm...........aaaaaaaaa...no
..., John Coltrane, Thelonious Monk, Bill Evans, Jimi Hendrix if he was not dead and many many others that I would need pages to enumerate them(actually 10 lines would be sufficient but anyway). It is in the late 50's when Miles after he introduced the cool jazz idiom as a kind of an answer to the hard-bop idiom of the time, he decides to reorchestrate the whole "Concerto d' Aranjuez" for guitar, by Rodrigo, in a more Miles way. His main assistant? Famous jazz orchestrator and composer Gill Evans, not to be mistaken with the other great jazz pianist Bill Evans, who also as mentioned above collaborated with Miles from times to times. Advantages: Can make you feel good Disadvantages: Can make you feel angry, Says some extreme thing e.g. N*gga
...This soundtrack has songs on, inspired and created for the film 8 mile. It has some good things on and a few bad things. O.K here I may be saying racist and derogetory terms but it's either the Lyrics or title.
That's my Ni**a for real is a good song. Young zee
Challenge. Gangstarr
Lose yourself. Eminem
and the rest aren't really that good.
It isn't a memorable soundtrackm that will stick in your head for ages, but their are a few songs that are O.K (the ones listed above).
Some of the lyrics are quite thought provoking, but that's what rap is for, to express your thoughts and feelings.
If you don't like swearing or the word Ni**a, it ain't for you.
I believe the word Ni**a appears over 15 times in the whole complication.
The sound quality is O.K and will probibally cost you £10-15 from any good record shop....

"Bad Medicine" is much of the same and bacame a number one hit, utilizing some very tounge in cheek lyrics.
Born to be my Baby is an above par rock ballad with intresting arrangement and lung bursting choruses.
Most of the middle of New Jersey focuses heavily on the more mature lyrical content, "Living in Sin" a beautiful ballad highlighting the plight of a young couple fighting to maintain a relationship in the shadow of heavily religous parents is delivered with poise and clarity. While "Blood on Blood" muses on the different paths childhood friends take into life and the struggle to maintain those relationships. This song...
