Album Notes: Deep house musician and producer Kevin Yost blends heavy electronic beats with bop-oriented jazz on 2004's FUTURE FLASHBACK, which incorporates live instruments as well as samples and loops.
Advantages: There is one song i like Disadvantages: there are too many songs that i don't like
...The millennium album by backstreet boys was good not excellent they have brought out better albums in the past. They aren't together any more i think thats a wise choice because i feel that its over for them and maybe if they want to in the future have a reunion that will be cool if they sing their old classics in a couple of years i would advise that if you are a massive fan buy it. If you already have all their albums why not buy this one but i do prfer their older material its more better to listen to when your having a laugh or friends round.
The backstreet boys do all have good voices Kevin has a nice voice AJ has a very different voice from all the others which is good for people that like that husky voice those are the two i like the best but the rest have absolutly fantasic voices too. Don't get me wrong the others sound just...

Sign Of The Times Review ofSign Of The Times - Kevin Coyneby
upwardsat45degrees
Advantages: A great introduction to Kevin Coyne Disadvantages: None
...Sign Of The Times Is an excellent introduction to the music of Kevin Coyne an uncompromising musician who did things his way rather than follow the Virgin A+R Departments advice ,The tracks on the cd are taken from eight albums out of twelve which he recorded for Virgin Records between 1973 and 1980.
Kevin had a voice similar to Howling Wolf and Captain Beefheart.
He was certainly influenced by the blues in his songwriting and it helped shape many of his songs over the years. Kevin also had a knack of putting his own stamp on things listen to Margory Razorblade ,Witch and Mona Where`s My Trousers three very unusual vocal tracks, challenging but very rewarding ,they give a taste of Kevin`s more experimental work
Highlights for me though are Marlene ,Eastbourne Ladies ,House On The Hill and Saviour they highlight his talent for me...

Advantages: A rather different style, but still FAB Disadvantages: We've waited so long for it!
...with 'Incomplete' which is to be the first single to be released, which I would describe as a classic power ballad, this is followed by a few above average songs like 'Just Want You To Know' and 'Crawling Back To You', then one of my several favourites 'Weird World'. The next three tracks ' I Still...' , 'Poster Girl' and 'Lose It All' are probably my least favourite but they are still good songs in their own right. The rest of the tracks 'Climbing The Walls', 'My Beautiful Woman', 'Safest Place To Hide', and the title track 'Never Gone' written by Kevin Richardson as a tribute to his late father are just pure genious in my opinion and are all possible future releases. Great songs with even better lyrics.
The album was pretty much slated by the critics but so far all I have heard is praise from new and old backstreet boy fans alike.
All in all...
