Future Is Now, The (Platinum Edition) [PA] - Non Phixion

...The Future is Now is a truly awesome hip hop record by Brooklyn outfit Non Phixion (Ill Bill, Goretex, Sabac Red, Dj Eclipse) backed by quality beats from a plethora of artists including Necro and Dj Premier. This band first got going in the mid 90s but couldn't find a label, amazingly it wasn't until 2002 when this first album was relesed. But what a stunning debut album it is, not one for the youngsters though with a fair bit of profanity, this album covers lots of subjects but has a political focus throughout. The two tracks that really stand out are Black Helicopters and The C.I.A is trying to kill me, obviously being quite a big fan of guitars - I quite like the latter version on the album which is rocky. Having selected those tracks out of the pack, I don't mean to undermine any of the other tracks which are all pretty good... Read review

...QUEEN : The Platinum Collection consists of the three Queen Greatest Hits retrospective albums packed together on one package, in a jewel case with a slipcase, and a 48 pg booklet which pertains for each of the albums' liner notes. Mainly consisting of this legendary act's singles, this particular (yours truly) would rather prefer taking on the whole complete catalog of Queen albums, most of which are now released/re-issued with bonus tracks. However, if you prefer having a good doze of the band in your library collection - this item would do enough as a must. If you have individual copies for each of the retrospective albums -- you would find certain features in it that are quite altered within the package. Advantages: I know this may be biased opinion but personally i hail this as one of the greatest hip hop albums of all time!
Disadvantages: None What so ever!!!!!

...is only approximetly 34 minutes long, it wil be the best 34 minutes of listening you have ever experienced. This platinium edition comes with a special bonus disc with four remixed tracks off illmatic and two new tracks. The four remixed tracks compare nothing to the origninal beats of Illmatic, the new beats simply sound to bubblegum and r'n'b for my liking and true hip hop fans, however the two new tracks (on the real and Star wars) bring the listeners back to the Illmatic era! This truly is one of the best Hip Hop albums you will ever purchase and is great to add to your collection!... Read review
