I have to first admit that i did not buy this CD, it was given to me as a gift. After watching X Factor, i thought that G4 weren't that bad, infact I thought they sang a few good songs, and i thought hit me one more time was hilarious, as were some of the clothes they wore. I have to admit the best description of G4 that i have heard has got to be from Chris Moyles, and its not that complimentary. Basically he says that 2 of them should sing behind a brick wall, and another behind frosted glass, so that you can only really see one of them. And i have to admit I agree.
The album I have to admit is funny. I don't know why but when i listen to it I just have to laugh, maybe it's that squeaky voice trying to sing Bohemian Rhapsody, or maybe its because i can actually picture the face of the blond one's head movements when he sings. I also think that the beginning of the circle of life is just funny, i don't think any of them can speak any foreign language, cos whatever they say at the beginning is totally different to what i can remember the original version to sound like.
One song that i think they pulled off pretty good was Jerusalem. Their voices are a good match for that kind of song, so they need to stick to that.
One song that i wish was on the album is their version of Hit Me Baby One More Time, because that would have just made my day, and kept me smiling for a week.
