Personally I'm not really into the classical / operatic stuff but when I first heard G4 on X-factor I was converted. I couldn't wait until G4 got signed and they released their first album, this one! Absolutely fantastic. It's your usual classical / operatic music with a hint of pop thrown in. The band is made up of four smashing guys although unfortunately you tend to hear mostly from Jonathan (blonde haired one). This will definately appeal to the young and old!
The album consists of 12 songs and really does leave you wanting more. I once listened to it 5 times in a row before I finally got dragged away from it.
1. Bohemian Rhapsody - It mad me giggle, listening to four buff men doing a version which you would only ever imagine Queen doing. You have to see the video of this too, HILARIOUS! 2. Nessun Dorma - One of those songs your either love or hate normally but it's actually good coming from G4. Vocals are amazing. 3. Everybody Hurts - One of those songs that usually bring a tear to your eyes and listening to this will just made you cry even more. 4. Circle Of Life - AMAZING! I think thats the only word that will describe this. 5. Creep - This is a song that you would never dream a classical group would sing but it's surprisingly good 6. To Where You Are - A song I had never heard of but I probably know all the word by now 7. Life On Mars - I think this is the song thats the most different to all the other son this album as it isn't a pop or classic song but it suited their voices wonderfully. 8. Flower Duet - Their voices just work so well together. 9. Broken Vow - Another song that will bring a tear to your eye. 10. Jerusalem - A well known song to all so for anyone to cover this they would have to make it good and my word is it good. 11. You'll Never Walk Alone - If I do any more crying to this album I will have no tears left! They just sing the songs so beautifully. 12. My Way - I have never liked this song but I must admit it is really good once sung but G4. A perfect end to a perfect album.
Definately worth the buy!
