Guns 'n Roses have always been top of my play list and lies is no exception. Lies is simply all you need for almost any occasion. Track list- Reckless life, Nice boys, Move to the city, Mama kin, Patience, Used to love her, You're crazy, One in a million. All of which are fantastic and will get your blood pumping while jumping up and down playing air guitar in the mirror (everyone does it).
Reckless life has a great beat and rhythm and is easy to sing along to if you like that sort of thing (personally i think its impossible not to
Nice boys has a very fast beat which from what i can tell is constantly to time. The lyrics are some times less coherent than over tracks but it sounds fantastic.
Move to the city in my opinion is the the worst track on the album. However is still one that I would not skip and Slash as always sounds amazing on Lead guitar.
Mama Kin is an inspired song and one of my favourates from the album, and can be listened to on so many different levels
The next half of the album is not in the conventual Guns 'n' roses electric guitar but regular guitar which shows variety and still sounds good.
Patience is a very chilled out song which must have been written while Axl wassnt in one of his well known bad moods. Very good to listen to after you have had an arguement, it calms me down any way.
Used To Love Her is a very comical song i can't really find any deep meaning in it than is on the surface. It is alot more upbeat than Patience but still fits in.
You're Crazy in my opinion is not as good as the paced up electric version on appetite for destruction however still sounds good and is definatly worth listening to.
One In A Million is a very catchy song that you can sing along to and is perhapse one of my favourates of the album. Thaere are however some of Axl's political view points in the lyrics which i personally don't find appropriate, but i suppose music is about getting a message put across to the audience.
