We both wanted to buy a new house. And (for different reasons) we both wanted a show home.
We looked at five different new housing developments all within easy reach of my workplace. The first was a development by a small building company. Nothing to write home about (if you'll pardon that accidental nearly a pun) it was a "bog standard" development, with nothing to recommend it. The houses seemed to be poorly designed and the site agent (who was only doing the job as a favour to a mate of hers) was utterly clueless as to how the house faired in regards to the recent changes in heat insulation, etc.
We noticed that on another development (construction by a national house builder which blew its own trumpet as to how good it's apprentice scheme was, how good it's skilled craftsmen were) the frames of the front doors ...

A few weeks ago Mr Tart and myself headed to his parents? for a family gathering. We were all going out for a posh meal on the Sunday and the French Horn was chosen as the location for the event.
LOCATION:
The French Horn is in Sonning-on-Thames. Sonning is not a big place and the restaurant is on the main road so you can?t miss it (sorry I can?t be more specific ? it doesn?t even give a road name on the website!). It?s not the easiest place to get to as the approaches are all through small, busy roads. There is plenty of parking in the French Horn?s car park opposite the restaurant. The restaurant?s location is what really makes it. It is right on the Thames with the gardens leading down to the river. We went on a beautiful sunny day and the setting ...
Advantages: Great volumising effect Disadvantages: Not waterproof
The Benefit brand originated in San Francisco and follows the ethos of vintage glam, it reminds me of the 1940's era. The official website for the brand (www.benefitcosmetics.com) states that the aim was to create stores with a candy store like atmosphere. I bought thieir mascara for the first time when I moved away to university. Before that I hadn't had access to the brand Benefit and it's counters.
The mascara comes in a chunky tube, with white lettering on it for the brand name and words BAD gal, the word lash is written in pink. The wand is possibly one of the biggest ones I have ever seen in a mascara, which is perhaps why it is so successful in creating really big and volumised lashes when I use it. The containter holds 8.5grans or product and usually lasts me about six months; I am currently on my second tube.
