Advantages: It rocks! Disadvantages: Can't really think of any
...The band have their own unique sound with a mixture of Irish / Punk rock.
I have read that other DropkickMurphys fans don't think this album is as great as The Warriors Code or Blackout. But I would recommend it to everyone and anyone.
This is a great album with a cover version of AC/DC's Jailbreak. It also as (F)Lannigan's ball which is their version of the traditional Lanngian's Ball and Fairmount Hill which again is their take on the traditional Spancill Hill.
Even your parents will love this, i actually got a row from my father-in-law for turning it down when he came for a visit.
I'm not a bagpipe lover at all, but when these guys play the bagpipes it really makes the foot tap and you can't help but bounce along....

Advantages: Great Lyrics and great riffs. Disadvantages: I cant see any.
...This is an amazing new album from a great band. It has the power of the thudding drum beat and driving electric guitars, mixed with angry and also soft lyrics. It has strong sense of family and working class which is what the band is all about. I know people who have listened to this album and its got then into the DropkickMurphys. Thats how good this album is. If you like punk infused with Irish themes and a sense of morals which are leaving modern society then you will like this. Also if you like loud music which you can sing along to then you will like this album, it is a must buy if you listen to bands such as Against Me, Social Distortion, The Pogues or bands such as these. I highly recommend this....
