Advantages: Classic dance music from the best of the best! Disadvantages: Already have a lot of this music on CD so a bit of a waste of money
...really good graphics as well.
Cover
The cover is a really good graphic of the famous Ministry of Sound logo. It is very stylish and modern and I really like it, along side the disco strobe background. On the back it has the full tracklist of each CD. The list of songs on the back are all in order of the date of when they were realesed which is a good idea so you can listen to example CD 3 if your wanting the more up-to-date songs played. Or CD 1 for the older 'classic' dance songs. When you take the CD's out of the cover slip you have pictures of part of the logo (corners etc) and unfolding it leaves you with the 3 CD's, nicely presented. Very funky!

Advantages: All the good songs in one place Disadvantages: Recycled old beats
...With three cds and over three hours of music, Pure Garage Platinum brings together the best sounds of the five preceding Pure Garage albums stretching back to 2000, whilst adding a few ‘new’ songs along the way. There are 50 tracks, presented on three black compact discs with futuristic silver and blue fonts, which match the colours on the box of the set itself. There is no specific feel to each disc but the third disc features the most new material.
From the 50 tracks on the album, only of 13 them are new, so only 25% of the total. Having said that, the other 75% span five double-cd boxed sets so it is difficult to say whether it is worth buying. For someone who wants to know more about, or get into, the garage scene and wants a good summary of the last three years of garage music, you can’t go wrong with this. If...

Advantages: Worth the money and hours of great, feel-good tunes Disadvantages: Have to be in the mood to listen to it
...How did I first become aware of this CD?
I love my bassline music and I brought the Sound Of Bassline Vol 1. which I thought was really good so when I heard the Sound Of Bassline Vol 2. was available to buy I didn't hesitate to buy it. The first time I listened to it I instantly enjoyed it and couldn't wait to hear the next song. Each CD met up to my expectations, I thought the songs were genius and I wouldn't go a day without listening to them at least once.
Would I recommend this to other people?
Yes, if you're into bassline music then I think it is a bargain. Most songs on the album are enjoyable based on the first listen so if listened to repeatedly they may become addictive!
What does the album consist of?
3 CDs which each contain 21-22 songs.
