Review of Scary Monsters [Remastered] - David Bowie by  pinkmatchstick

Advantages: Two geniunely all-time great songs
Disadvantages: overlooked

...option. Recorded at the Power Station, New York, Bowie reunited with Tony Visconti twiddling the knobs, the band consisting of Dennis Davis (drums), George Murray (bass), Robert Fripp and Carlos Alomar (guitars). Released in late 1980 and went straight to the top of the charts. It's No Game (No 1) opening with very loud guitars, looping over and over, underneath Japanese singing, (Michi Hirota vocals) at the end of which David shouts "Shut up!!" A very scary monster indeed. Up The Hill Backwards: a later single release, mainly acoustic with electric guitar undertones. About changing governments I think. Scary Monsters (& Super Creeps): Another single lifted from the album, a galloping ride through a tale of a lunatic asylum? Whatever, it is a bleeding stonker of a single. Ashes To Ashes: oh, joy!! This should... Read review

Classic FM Music for Drving
Review of Classic FM Music for Driving by  SScott764

Advantages: Great songs - wonderful, popular tunes
Disadvantages: A few songs aren't as good as the others

...Orchestra. This famous piece has one of the most lyrical beginnings of any symphony. Schubert said "You can hear the angels singing in it." It is a nice, calming/soothing track that is another of the best tracks on the CD. 8. Bach: Double Violin Concerto BWV1043 - first movement (03:38) This piece, played by the Scottish Chamber Orchestra with solos by Joji Hattori and James Clark, is joyful and lively is good for calming you and lifting your spirit. It also is quite famous, I recognised it when I heard it, though I don't know where I heard it - possibly in a music class in school but I'm not sure. It's a good piece but not wonderful. 9. Delibes: Lakmé - Flower Duet (04:58) This piece, featured in the British Airways TV advert, is played by Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra and sung by soprano, Janice Watson and by mezzo... Simply a charmer
Review of What My Heart Wants To Say [ECD] - Gareth Gates by  angel_babe_uk

Advantages: Gareth Gates, whats bad to say about him.
Disadvantages: Can you think of any? I certainly can't.

...So what do you personally tink of the Gareth Gates? Cute, sexy, ugly? It depends on your taste really, and by bringing out this song and watching the video to it, does it mke the butterflys go round in your stomache or is it the sespool of sick beneath your throat? I have had lots of dibates at college on the topic f Gareth Gates. Of course his single before this one "Unchained Melody" was a brilliant hit, nobody could ever sing it better than him because if the unique voice he has, but o you think this single dragged him down from his career? I personlly think that Gareth Gates can sing any song, any place, any time. His single for red nose day was simply the best I had heard in ages, Im not suprized if he lifted you off your feet in that one girls because he is a charmer. There is my opinion on Gareth Gates, I dont normally go... Read review
