.5 million re-design in September 2003 which also saw a change in name from The Republic to Gatecrasher One. This name change also resulted in a repositioning of the brand with the World famous Gatecrasher Trance nights now operating under the name Crasher.
Gatecrasher has hosted some of the largest-capacity parties throughout the UK; Leeds, Cardiff, Milton Keynes, Glasgow, Dublin and Birmingham to name but a few. In a revolutionary move, a clubbing first, one of the most talked-about events ever was Gatecrasher at Lothario Hall, Leeds in 1999. 10,000 people congregated to listen to over 20 leading DJs and artists from all dance genres.

Advantages: unusual mix of music mixed superbly, quality songs and couple of classics Disadvantages: not everyones cup of tea, just the few songs that you would skip
Very good compilation brought to us byFerryCorsten. His mix of songs is very good and in most cases the choice of songs is excellent. The beginning to both cds is excellent, shame the ends arent as good, it just feels like he has bunged a few in to make the minutes up on the cd's.
Apart from the odd songs that no one's ever heard of there are a few classics in there. 'William Orbit - Barbers Adagio For Strings' , a pure classic that won't be forgotton. The mix is byFerryCorsten, but i don't think he is trying to steal the show, in my opinion it is the best version. Also 'System F - Cry', 'Gouryella - Ligaya' and 'The Thrillseekers - Synaethesia' are present, and all on cd2.
I think this compilation isn't for the feint hearted, it has real beat to it and any classic clubber will absolutely like the 2nd cd. A shame the 1st cd doesn ...

Put together in 2003, this def jam idea includes songs by Nas, Mobb Deep and Notorious BIG, some made especially for the album some old tracks that just fit. None appear in the film but there are samples and dialouge used from the picture.
