...The album ‘Wild Hearts’, has got some of her classic songs such as, ‘Stand Back’, ‘Nothing ever changes’, and ‘If anyone falls’.
A stranger to Stevie’s music will probably think that she has a frog in her throat and she needs to Hhhmmm to clear it, but her unique sound is what made her successful solo artist as well as a Fleetwood Mac band member.
She began her solo career in 1981, I guess one of her highlights would be getting asked by President Clinton to perform ‘Don’t Stop’ with Fleetwood Mac, at his inauguration celebration in 1993
She has such an extraordinary voice it’s not to get addicted to her!
Tracks on the album are:
Wild Heart
If Anyone Falls
Gate And Garden
Enchanted
Nightbird
Stand Back
I Will Run To You
Nothing Ever Changes

Advantages: Essential listening for true Maidenites Disadvantages: Again, poor production, slightly weaker than debut
...for their roots.
1. 'The Ides of March'
Strangely, this album opens with an instrumental, and a short one at that! Technically great, with rolling drums, and efficient shredding, but it sounds strangely like Queen!
2. 'Wrathchild'
An early classic, this is a belter, with Di'Anno's vocals passionate and fitting the song perfectly. It is about a boy who grows up with one aim in life; to track down his estranged father. Lyric example; "Now i spend my time looking all around, for a man who's nowhere to be found"
3. 'Murders in the Rue Morgue'
Like 'Phantom of the Opera' this stands the test of time as one of Maiden's very finest. This, essentially, is a lightning fast punk anthem, but with the technical prowess of Metal musicians. A nod to the Edgar Allan Poe tale, it tells of a man wrongly accused of a murder in Paris, who runs away foolishly. Di...

.... He sounds more than a little similar to Ronnie James Dio, no coincidence nor is it a bad thing either. Come on people admit it, for all his rock star persona, Ozzy was never much of a singer.
We have the compulsory instrumental intro with The Gates Of Hell, all keyboardy and thumping bass drum as if representing a beating heart, leading right into the caustic opening chords of the album's title track. "Where will you run to? Oh!" exults Martin, doing his best to out-Dio the singing pixie himself. A really fast paced and up-for-it number Devil And Daughter is next, complete with a great chorus built up from layered Martin vocals.
Just to show that Sabbath are really still Sabbath (alright well kind of) they throw in the doom-laden When Death Calls, a tune right in the tradition of a slower huge riff that this band...
