Why is it that the 'Invisible Band' is loved across such a wide audience? why is it that our dear friends Travis are able to walk down the street unnoticed and unafraid of any of the mobs that usually surround rock bands of their success?

The main reason is that the people who listen to their music are only interested in one thing, the music.

Fran Healys Stipe or even Dylan like lyrics are in non way controvetial, in fact it almost seems as if we are listening to something deeply personal, something that we actually can relate to and understand.

Five years ago Travis were merely an up and coming inie band with the potential to be big and from those humble beginings they have spung like some strang phonemoen across the world.

Good Feeling, their debut album(not The Man Who which many believe to be was probably their best album to date, with its Bowie like energy it belongs in every students home in Britain.
The Man Who shortly followed up, becoming the biggest selling album of 1999.
The Invisible Band, this years release is yeat anothe fine example of what the boys are capable of.
All these albums have the same thing in common, their deeply wonderful songs. From 'More than us' to 'Flowers in the windo', Fran Healy has a knack for lyrics and desreves all the credit he can get.
