Genesis/It Ain't Safe No More - Busta Rhymes

Advantages: A few bangers
Disadvantages: Too long

..."Genesis" came as the fifth solo album from the New York rapper, Busta Rhymes. It came out in 2001, and as him working alongside some of the best of the time with the likes of The Neptunes, Diddy and Dr. Dre all making appearances on this record. It features some of his best material ever, and I would say it would be the final album he released before he seemingly feel off. 1. "Intro" 2. "Everybody Rise Again" After a introduction, which featured Dolomite, you have Just Blaze taking over and forcing you to get excited with ascending melodies which build one up in the way which Busta wants as he brings you into a much more lively (but manageable album). it is the right way to start things off, and tell the listener where things are directed. **Three Stars** 3. Advantages: Superb acting, beautifully filmed
Disadvantages: Some will find it deeply depressing

...hyped up to the hilt like this one. More often than not, I'm disappointed because they don't live up to expectations. Finally, however, I succumbed to the draw of No Country for Old Men, simply because it sounds like exactly the sort of film I would enjoy. The fact that it is directed and written by the Coen brothers is neither here nor there for me - I have loved some of their films, particularly Fargo and The Big Lebowski, but hated others, such as Intolerable Cruelty and O Brother, Where Art Thou? Then again, knowing that the story is based on a book by Cormac McCarthy did give me more than a glimmer of hope. I've heard so many great things about Javier Bardem's performance as Anton Chigurh in this film. Advantages: excellent lyrics and well produced
Disadvantages: none i can think of

...Heard of him but never really paid attention Saw him a few months back and was really really blown away Got the Genesis album (off ebay £4.99)as there were a few tracks that he played and i thought yes The album is just brilliant (no turkeys on this one) just straight up hip hop the way you lick it. Proper thumping bass and snapping snares my favourite tracks are as i come back genisis truck volume Pass The Courvoisier ironically the track that hit the charts (break your neck) isn't the best track on the album but that not to say that it was a bad track. Overall though this is definately a worthy buy If you do get chance go and see him live GO AND SEE HIM... Read review
